I always like this sort of design better. The sense of realism, where controls are concerned, is there.

What do you think of that?
the design has some little faults due to where it's supposed to be in relation to the progression of technology, if that makes sense
essentially, it's something that comes before the development of a "true" powered suit. think of it as a P51 in relation to an F22.
there's also minimal armor for a couple of reasons, it's compensated by a (force)field generator & it's easier to get in & out of the suit.

though the Japanese HAL suit is much nicer to look at.
They seem feasible IRL after all. The only thing I don't really see feasible as of this date is the power source and mobility.
the only limiting factor has always been power.
mobility/agility is not a problem.
Makes me wonder if that suit in the video is similar to japan's bionic suit. But I guess japan's was intended for domestic use. As the video you showed seems to be multi-purpose.
plus a few elements from an M1114 Humvee.
