solid, feasible, & reminiscent of the G1 counterpart.
they look solid, but they have very complicated "Transformation Math"
...they're sorta prototype blueprints, they show me what might be "toy possible"

i need to adopt your coloring style. looks like it works really well on mecha and it doesn't seem to look too difficult to do.
it's pretty much "instant" coloring, fill, next layer, repeat, shade & highlight

Try doing individual gradients on each segmented part. Trust me the coloring will look really neat!
