A big steel gorrila- an absolutely perfect representation of the troopers from my favourite novel :)

Have you ever thought of doing one of the battle-scenes, like on the Skinny Homeworld, or Sheol?

This is one of the better depictions of the powered armor from Starship Troopers. I can just hear the 30 second bomb. The movies never did the book justice because they were never meant to as Paul Verhoeven the director of the first film was a huge critique of the source material despite never finishing the book. Robert A. Heinlein's book did rub people raw that we can invoke Godwin's Law within a debate or discussion within a few minutes.

What kills me about Starship Troopers is the horrible gap that divides the books (including the Dark Horse Comics series) and the movies.

On one side you have some pretty good storytelling and on the other you have a bucket of vomit.

Nice work too!
I want to be an ape.

i wish somebody would make a proper adaptation, instead of just another bad sequel.

Is it me, or are the feet a bit to small to support the overall weight(brought on by the steel-crushing arms)?

Anyway, great work. Power armors are the best way to go :D

I figured the gorilla proportions would balance out when the suit is in its "correct" half-squat posture.

it's not entirely my fault, the book said "Big Steel Gorilla". =P

you could be right though. We'll find out when I try to make it stand. :D

Any chance you could do a detailed study on those hands? They look positively killer!

I might do a study on the hands, but probably not on pencil & paper. :)
